A fraction is a part of a whole.
Every day, we share things with our friends, family, and neighbours. It could be a pizza, a birthday cake, cookies, chocolates, or even a sandwich.
When we share them, we don't give away the whole thing. We share one part or a few parts of it by dividing it into equal parts.
So, every time you share something by dividing it into equal parts, you're using fractions in real life.
Fractions are used every day while sharing pizza, cutting cakes, dividing chocolates, measuring ingredients, and much more.
